Police investigating north Lethbridge robbery

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is asking for your help in finding a man believed to be involved in a robbery.

At 12:48 am on Sunday, January 19, LPS was called to the 7-Eleven gas station at #10-2607 Scenic Drive North.

The clerk told police that a man approached him and said he had a gun and demanded money.

The man was given money from the till although no gun was observed.

The suspect left the store without harming anyone.

The suspect is described as being a man of an “unknown race”, six feet tall, average build, wearing a black jacket, black touque sunglasses, black gloves, grey pants, and his face was covered by a black material.

A silver car was seen circling the parking lot shortly before the man entered the store. It is unclear if this is connected to the robbery.
