Tree pruning to start in north Lethbridge on Monday

LETHBRIDGE, AB – City of Lethbridge crews will start tree pruning next week.

The work will take place starting Monday, January 27 in the north end of Lethbridge.

Areas where you can expect to see workers include:

· 500 block of Stafford Drive North up to St. Edward Boulevard North

· Meadow Lake Boulevard North

· Stafford Drive North to 13 Street North between 5 Avenue North and 9 Avenue North

Drivers can expect to see some residential road closures and/or lane reductions as work is underway. Crews should be finished by the end of March, depending on the weather conditions.

Signs will be placed in front of residences indicating work areas and most of the pruning will happen between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
