No charges in 2018 death of two-year-old from Cardston

CARDSTON, AB – RCMP Major Crimes has concluded their investigation into the death of a young child.

As LNN reported at the time, the two-year-old girl was taken to hospital on August 2, 2018 with “serious injuries.”

The child died on August 6, 2018 in Calgary.

An autopsy was completed the following day at the Calgary Medical Examiner’s office.

“The evidence in this case does not support any charges,” reads a media release from Southern Alberta District RCMP.
