Pincher Creek RCMP recover stolen Conservation Officer vehicle

PINCHER CREEK, AB – An enforcer of the law had their law enforcement vehicle stolen.

Pincher Creek executed a search warrant on a home and garage on Albert Street in Pincher Creek on Wednesday, January 29.

This was in response to an investigation into a break and enter to an Alberta Conservation Officer’s residence that occurred on January 14.

Three people were arrested during the search and a number of items were seized.

They include a disassembled pick up truck that is believed to be the Conservation Officer’s stolen work vehicle, as well as firearms and a quantity of what is said to be methamphetamine and other drugs.

The accused include Daniel James Price, 53, of Pincher Creek. He is facing charges of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, two counts of unsafe storage of a prohibited firearm, two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, failing to comply with an undertaking, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and abandoning a vehicle on private property.

Price was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in Pincher Creek Provincial Court on February 4.

Brenda Lynn Ferguson, 49, of Pincher Creek is charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Ferguson was released on a promise to appear in court on March 3.

Dallas Adam Caron, 25, of Pincher Creek, is charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

Caron was released on a $1,000 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in court on February 11.
