Not guilty pleas entered for Blood Tribe officer charged with sexual assault
LETHBRIDGE, AB – Not guilty pleas have been entered on behalf of a Blood Tribe Constable charged with two counts of sexual assault.
Lethbridge lawyer Scott Hadford, acting as agent for Bradley Chief Body’s Calgary lawyer, appeared in Lethbridge Provincial Court Wednesday morning (Feb. 5) to enter the pleas on the officer’s behalf.
Chief Body was arrested and charged on July 16, 2019, after a Blood Tribe female police officer reported that in February 2017, she was allegedly touched in an inappropriate manner during two separate incidents while they were both on duty.
The matter was investigated by the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT) in consultation with the Alberta Crown Prosecution Service (ACPS).
