$17,600 in drugs and cash confiscated in Lethbridge arrest
LETHBRIDGE, AB – A Lethbridge man is facing several charges after being apprehended by police on Tuesday, February 4.
Following a brief investigation by Lethbridge Police Service’s (LPS) Crime Suppression Team, officers and members of the K9 unit attended the Travelodge on the 1000 block of Mayor Magrath Drive South and executed a search warrant on one of the rooms.
A man and a woman, who were both wanted on outstanding warrants, were found inside and were arrested without incident.
LPA claims the man was in possession of methamphetamine, carfentanil, and crack cocaine. The drugs combined are said to have a street value of more than $10,300.
