Missing Airdrie teen may have been heading to Lethbridge area

AIRDRIE, AB – UPDATE: Dakota Jacques has been found safe. Airdrie RCMP is thanking the public for their assistance.

Airdrie RCMP are asking for your help in finding a missing 16-year-old boy.

Dakota Jacques was last seen in his home in Airdrie on Wednesday, February 19.

“He may be in the Airdrie/ Calgary area, or travelling to the Lethbridge area,” reads a media release from Airdrie RCMP.

Jacques is described as a Causacian with a thin build, standing 5’4″ and weighing 60 kilograms.

He has brown eyes and short, dark brown hair.

He was last seen wearing glasses with a dark blue trim, a yellow/orange hoodie, grey sweatpants, grey coat, purple Vans shoes, and may have been carrying or riding a scooter.
