Online booking for Lethbridge picnic shelters to open on Monday

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge residents will be able to book city picnic shelters, starting next week.

As of 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2, online reservations will be live for the eight bookable picnic sites across Lethbridge.

The shelters will be reservable on a first-come, first-serve basis and will be confirmed as soon as a user’s online payment has been processed.

In past years, the shelters had to be reserved in person through the City of Lethbridge or over the phone. By offering an online service, residents can book their own times and view what is available before making any plans.

The portal is part of the City of Lethbridge’s efforts to improve online services for residents.

Residents can view arena and sports field availability, register for Helen Schuler Nature Centre programs and manage their online account.

Anyone wishing to book picnic shelters in-person can still do so by visiting the Recreation and Culture department on the third floor of Lethbridge City Hall.
