Warrant issued for man on meth possession charge after no-showing court

LETHBRIDGE, AB – A 44-year-old man was scheduled to appear in Lethbridge Court of Queen’s Bench on Thursday, March 5, but failed to show.

Cordelle Daniel Bad Arm was arrested by Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) at approximately 1:30 am on Saturday, February 1, 2020.

Police claim the man had an outstanding warrant and was in possession of 31 pre-portioned bags of methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia

Daniel Bad Arm was charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of failing to comply with the conditions of a release order, and was issued tickets for two bicycle equipment violations.

Crown Prosecutor Miranda Hlady says the suspect did not show up for his scheduled appearance, and while she does not know exactly where he is, she was confident that he was still in the jurisdiction.

Legal counsel has not yet been filed for Daniel Bad Arm.

An arrest warrant has been issued for him.

His next scheduled appearance in court is March 12.
