
Alberta Chief Medical Officer of Health – “Get used to a new normal!”
EDMONTON, AB. — Alberta’s Chief Medical Health Officer, confirmed at the daily COVID-19 update Saturday (Mar 14) that the province had added ten new cases, taking the provincial total to 39.
Dr. Deena Hinshaw, says of the news case, six are in the Calgary Zone and four are in Edmonton Zone.
Two of the new cases, one in Edmonton Zone and the other in Calgary Zone, have been admitted into intensive care, and both individuals are in their 60’s. All other new cases are in self-isolation at home and expected to make a full recovery.
Eight of the new cases have been confirmed to be related to international travel or to a previously confirmed case. Investigations are ongoing on the remaining two cases.
