Risk associated with COVID-19 prompts Lethbridge County to close offices

LETHBRIDGE, AB. –– In response to the current pandemic, Lethbridge County has taken proactive steps to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 among staff and residents.
On Wednesday (Mar 18) afternoon, Reeve Lorne Hickey announced the County’s offices in Lethbridge, Picture Butte, and Coaldale are closed and will remain so until further notice.
County staff will still report to work as utility and other payments will still be processed, along with development and Land Use applications.
