Lethbridge duo charged after major drug and weapons bust
LETHBRIDGE, AB – Two Lethbridge residents have been charged following a drug and weapons bust.
Lethbridge Police say on March 24, members of the Crime Suppression Team (CST), the Priority Crimes Unit and Patrols executed search warrants at a residence along the 2900 block of 12 Avenue South, a detached garage on the 1000 block of 12 B Street South and a detached garage along Temple Boulevard as well as a vehicle.
At the southside garage, police arrested a man while a female was apprehended at the residence.
Officials found more than 450 grams of methamphetamine worth just over $27,000, nearly $1,000 worth of cocaine, over $3,400 in cash, along with drug paraphernalia, two conducted energy weapons, three brass knuckles, bear spray, an airsoft gun that has the look of an assault rifle, a stolen snow blower, electronics and several used prepaid VISA cards.
