Lethbridge Hurricanes to pick 16th in WHL Bantam Draft

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Although the rest of the current Western Hockey League (WHL) season has been cancelled, teams are still looking ahead to the future.

The WHL held its draft lottery Wednesday.

The Regina Pats had already secured the first-overall selection, having acquired it from the Swift Current Broncos.

The lottery selection went to the Prince George Cougars, moving them up to the second pick in the first round.

In both of the first two rounds, the Lethbridge Hurricanes will get the 16th draft pick.

The 2020 Bantam Draft will take place Wednesday, April 22.

The full order is as follows:

5. Saskatoon Blades (from Regina Pats)
