City woman previously charged with drug trafficking faces new charges

LETHBRIDGE, AB. –– A 45-year-old city who was facing charges from an arrest earlier in the month, now has additional charges for trafficking and breaching the conditions of a release order.

Around 10:25 on Wednesday (March 25) evening, the Crime Suppression Team saw a woman known to them, operating a vehicle along 23 Street North. The female had been charged on March 11, in connection with a dial a dope operation and was bound by conditions, including a curfew and prohibitions from possessing a cell phone or drugs not prescribed by a medical professional.

Police witnessed the woman engage in a drug transaction and arrested as she parked at north-side home. During a search officers seized cocaine, cash, two cell phones and a digital scale.

Cindy Ann Androkovich, is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of failing to comply with a release order and two counts of breach of a recognizance.
