Two more Covid-19 cases in the South Health zone
EDMONTON, AB. — Alberta health has confirmed there are now 1,349 cases of COVID-19 in the province, with the addition of 98 cases on Monday (Apr 6).
Another death in Calgary, involving woman in her 80’s, takes the provincial death toll to 24.
The South Health Zone has seen the addition of two more cases – one in Lethbridge and another in the M.D. of Willow Creek, taking the South tally to 22. However, while Lethbridge has now had seven cases of COVID-19, only two of the cases are considered active and the other five have recovered.
At this time, there have been 361 recovered cases across the province and roughly 204 cases are believed to be through community transmission.
