Blood Tribe woman charged after drug bust

STANDOFF, AB – Blood Tribe Police (BTP) have charged a woman with drug-related offences.
A release from the BTP stated that on April 2, the detachment received tips from the public, which led to the arrest of 43-year-old Karen Shade, of the Blood Tribe.
Shade was found to be in possession of four grams of methamphetamine and six grams of fentanyl. During her arrest, police also seized a cell phone.
The 43-year-old is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine and fentanyl. She was released and is set to appear in Cardston court on June 22, 2020.
