
$3-million in provincial grants being given to Caregivers Alberta
EDMONTON, AB – The Government of Alberta looks to support the province’s caregivers.
They are giving $3-million in grants to Caregivers Alberta, a non-profit organization that provides programs and resources for caregivers.
“Caregivers are essential to the well-being and quality of life of over one million Albertans,” says Health Minister Tyler Shandro. “This is particularly true as we deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. Funding to increase supports for caregivers is part of our government’s commitment to ensure that all Albertans are taken care of – during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.”
