Hurricanes sign defenseman Easton Kovacs

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes have announced the latest addition to their roster.

They signed 15-year-old Easton Kovacs of Delta, B.C. to a Western Hockey League Standard Player Agreement.

The 6’2, 170-pounder attended the Canes’ Rookie Camp in 2019.

Kovacs appeared in 34 games with the Delta Hockey Academy Elite 15’s in the CSSHL where he accumulated 16 points (4g-12a) along with 39 penalty minutes. He finished third in team scoring among defensemen.

Over his three year stint with Delta Hockey, Kovacs appeared in 93 regular-season games at various levels, totalling 41 points (10g-31a) along with 124 penalty minutes.
