Fatal collision claims life of Blood Tribe woman

STANDOFF, AB. — Blood Tribe police were called to a two vehicle collision on Tuesday, April 14, at the intersection of Highway 2 and Highway 505 West.
The lone female occupant of one of the vehicles was found deceased, while the driver and a passenger of the other vehicle were transported to hospital.
Weather, speed and alcohol have been determined to be contributing factors and the Police continue to investigate.
