LPS investigating single vehicle incident in the coulees

LETHBRIDGE, AB. — A large contingent of police and emergency personnel were called out to the coulees on the city’s south side, near the airport, on Thursday (Apr 23) night, to investigate a single vehicle collision.

People who live in the area told LNN that a truck hit a ditch quite hard, sometime between 8:30 and 9:00-pm. A K-9 unit was seen looking for the vehicle occupants and a tow truck was called to remove the truck.

Police confirm that everyone in the vehicle was located. However, they continue to investigate and had no other immediate details about the circumstances surrounding the collision.
