Firearms, drugs, cash seized in Fort Macleod

FORT MACLEOD, AB – The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team (ALERT) has made a significant drug bust in Fort Macleod.

On Wednesday, April 29, ALERT’s Lethbridge organized crime team conducted a drug trafficking investigation at a home in the community in partnership with the Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods (SCAN) unit.

At the home, officers reportedly seized three rifles, $14,175 in cash, and approximately $26,000 worth of drugs that includes 25 grams of suspected carfentanil, 56 grams of methamphetamine, and 15 grams of cocaine.

Nicole Colacci, 47, has been charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession fo the proceeds of crime, and multiple firearms offences.
