LETHBRIDGE, AB – Police have charged two people after a warrant was executed at a south Lethbridge hotel.

Lethbridge Police stated that earlier this month, members of the Priority Crimes Unit (PCU) started a short-term investigation into reported drug trafficking activity.

On May 11, the PCU obtained and executed a search warrant in a hotel room along the 200 block of 41 Street South.

One man was arrested without incident and police say they seized about 150 grams of methamphetamine, 17 grams of fentanyl, 11 grams of crack cocaine, a small quantity of psilocybin, prescription narcotics, assorted drug paraphernalia including scales and packaging, and more than $35,400 in cash. Police say the total estimated street value of the drugs is more than $13,500.

A woman “associated to the room” was arrested a day later at a home in west Lethbridge.
