Man charged after assault, threats involving a gun at South Lethbridge Walmart
LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) has arrested a 34-year-old man following an altercation at the south side Walmart.
Around 12:00 pm on Sunday, May 17, police were called to the store on the 3700 block of Mayor Magrath Drive South on reports of a physical altercation between a man and two loss prevention officers.
Taking place in the parking lot, police claim the suspect pointed a handgun at the employees.
Two days prior to this, the same man was allegedly at Walmart and threatened to come back and cause harm after a verbal dispute regarding a return.
