RCMP looking for information on High River home invasion

HIGH RIVER, AB – High River RCMP are asking for witnesses or those who might have any information about a local home invasion to come forward.

It occurred at a home on 1 Street Southwest and 8 Ave Southwest between 9:00 pm on Friday, May 15 and 3:00 am on Saturday, May 16.

Officers believe this matter is related to a gathering at a fire pit earlier in the evening nearby.

“A 35-year-old male was knocked out in his residence while he lay in bed,” reads a media release from High River RCMP. “When he awoke at 06:00 am he discovered that he had also been robbed.”

RCMP thinks the two suspects, both men, left in a black Cadillac and possibly returned to the party.
