Person arrested for arson south of Coleman

CROWSNEST PASS, AB- Nearly a month has passed since a suspicious fire near Coleman, Alberta on May 2nd.

After an investigation, Crowsnest Pass RCMP have laid arson charges related to the incident.

The fire was located in a wooded area directly south of Coleman and the Forestry Crimes Unit was able to identify an individual responsible for the fire.

Charges are currently being looked at for arson and possession of incendiary device.

RCMP advise anyone who has any information relating to this or any other crime, contact the Crowsnest Pass RCMP detachment.
