CALGARY, AB– 15 of the WHL’s top players have been invited to attend Canada’s virtual National Junior Team Sport Chek Summer Development Camp from July 27-31, 2020.

Lethbridge Hurricanes’ Dylan Cozens and Spokane Cheifs Adam Beckman headline the group of those invited including players like Lethbridge’s own Ridly Greig, Bowen Byram of the Vancouver Giants, Kaedan Korczak of the Kelowna Rockets and Matthew Robertson of the Edmonton Oil Kings.

Eight WHL players attending the camp are eligible for the 2020 NHL Draft, including Prince Albert Raiders defenceman Kaiden Guhle.

The camp will be virtual, however, meaning no in-person workouts and the league will have more information related to that closer to the camp.

This is essentially a stepping stone to the world I-I-H-F junior championships in 2021.
