Man arrested following series of bank robberies across Southern Alberta
CALGARY, AB – Alberta RCMP’s Southern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit has arrested a man accused of robbing numerous banks in the region.
They claim Jesse Damond Morton, 44, of Calgary, committed seven separate bank robberies between August 2019 and April 2020.
The incidents occurred in Magrath, Granum, twice in Vauxhall, Caroline, Trochu, and Calgary.
On Tuesday, June 23, Morton was arrested in Calgary.
