New closure in effect Friday for next phase of Henderson Park Irrigation Replacement

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Residents are being advised that the north access to the west parking lot of Henderson Park will be closed off as of Friday, July 3.

The work being done is part of the Henderson Park Irrigation Replacement construction project.

Access to the west parking lot will be maintained via Mayor Magrath Drive South.

The City of Lethbridge says area on the north section of this parking lot will be fenced off during construction. The closure is anticipated to be in effect until Friday, October 30.

Motorists and park users are being asked to navigate the area with caution and respect the construction fencing, signs, equipment and workers.

The north parking lot off of Parkside Drive South that has been used as the staging area to date will now be fully re-opened as construction is complete on the east side of the park.
