Using kids to cut the grass – goat kids that is

Jul 10, 2020 | 4:27 PM

LETHBRIDGE, AB– One local business was able to get Creekside Goat Company to come cut the grass.

Connie Hansen asked the City of Lethbridge to trim the grass in the ditch in front of Crossings Dental and the city said they were too busy especially being understaffed.

The goats are trained to eat the weeds, but eating the grass will work for them too.

Goats have four stomachs, so Creekside Goat Company takes advantage of that and puts them to work all day.

This ecologically friendly way to cut the grass could be something moving forward into the future.
