Southern Alberta woman charged for endangering a child, drug possession

MOSES LAKE, AB – Blood Tribe Police have arrested a local woman following on a range of charges.

On Thursday, July 23, officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the community of Moses Lake.

In the home, police claim to have seized 10.5 grams of methamphetamine, crack cocaine, and heroin, along with scales and an airsoft handgun.

A nine-year-old child was located inside the residence.

Three people were arrested at the scene. Two of them were released without charges while a woman was charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of causing a child to be drug endangered.

To protect the identity of the child, the name of the woman is not being released.
