Fire advisory issued for MD of Pincher Creek

PINCHER CREEK, AB– The Municipal District of Pincher Creek, the town of Pincher Creek, and Piikani First Nation are under a fire advisory.
The advisory was issued by Pincher Creek Emergency Services Commission:
“The hot, dry weather has changed the fire hazard dramatically. Fuels are curing quickly making them available. Accidental starts are occurring. Please use caution in all operations. We are not restricting the use of fire pits at this time but will limit issuing debris permits to windows of opportunity.”
