Minor injuries in Highway 512 collision

COALDALE, AB – Coaldale emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision Wednesday evening.

Coaldale RCMP told LNN that a Western Star semi was attempting to turn left on to Range Road 20-4, when a Pontiac Pursuit traveling attempted to pass it during its turn, which resulted in a collision.

The Coaldale Fire Department responded, along with RCMP and EMS.

The collision slowed traffic to one lane on Highway 12, but the area was cleared and reopened at around 8:57 p.m.
