Vulcan County issues wildfire alert

VULCAN, AB– Alberta Emergency Alerts have issued a Wildfire Alert for Vulcan county after a large stack of hay bales have caught on fire.

The hay balefire is south of Lomond along Highway 845 between Township Road 160 and 162.

Vulcan County Fire Departments are on scene and the fire is contained.

Emergency personnel asks the public to steer clear of the area and keep doors and windows closed if you are in the area.
