“Let’s Talk Trash” about Lethbridge’s waste management strategies
LETHBRIDGE, AB– Lethbridge residents, businesses, and industry groups will have a chance to join virtual events where they can share their ideas on how to handle waste in the community. The “Let’s Talk Trash” initiative will be held at the following times and dates:
– Virtual Public Focus Group
Event – An opportunity for residents to work alongside the City to provide input, helping to create the Waste Management Master Plan. Participants will complete exercises and work together to create a shared understanding of current waste management in Lethbridge while exploring new ideas. Please note for this session, participants are expected to stay for the full 3-hours.
Date – Wednesday, September 23rd from 4-7 p.m.
– Virtual Open House
Event – The City will be available to discuss key waste management topics with residents. A quick overview of the master planning process will be presented followed by a question and answer period. Residents can come and go anytime during this session, much like a traditional open-house.
Date – Thursday, September 24th at 5 p.m.
– Virtual Business Focus Groups
Event – Key business stakeholders will be invited to a series of focus groups to talk about needs and barriers specific to their line of work.
Date – September 22 and 24
