Four arrested in Airdrie after six people shot with BB guns

AIRDRIE, AB – Six people suffered minor injuries following a string of shootings with BB guns Friday night.

At approximately 9:30 pm on Friday, Airdrie RCMP received multiple reports of men shooting guns.

The incidents occurred in six different locations downtown, leading the area to be put into a “shelter in place.”

A coordinated effort was undertaken between RCMP, Police Dog Services, the Emergency Response Team, and the Calgary Police Service’s helicopter air watch team.
