Priority Crimes Unit charge two people with Trafficking
LETHBRIDGE, AB. — Two people face drug trafficking charges after a quantity of fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine and cash were seized last Friday.
Following an investigation by members of the Priority Crimes Unit, an arrest and a search warrant was obtained and executed at a south Lethbridge hotel room on September 18.
Police seized approximately 70 grams of cocaine, 46 grams of fentanyl, 9.6 grams of methamphetamine and over $2800 in cash. The combined value of the drugs is approximately $16,800.
38-year old Jamie Anthony Copeland, of Calgary, is charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and proceeds of crime under $5000.
