LETHBRIDGE, AB – Much like the University of Lethbridge did last month, Lethbridge College is taking its open house to a virtual space.

Replacing the annual in-person open house for 2020, due to COVID-19, the college will offer prospective students to learn about its programs with live Zoom sessions.

They’ll be able to connect with college faculty and staff in an interactive setting.

The 2020 Virtual Open House starts at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 21 and goes until 4:00 p.m.

“We want to bring the Lethbridge College experience right to prospective students, no matter where they are,” said Nancy Russell, Dean of Student Affairs.

“Whether you know exactly what program you want to take, or if you are just curious about new opportunities, Virtual Open House is the place to start. This is a new and innovative way of connecting with future students that I think will be really beneficial for them.”

Those planning to attend the free open house can review all available sessions beforehand here and decide what scheduling works best for them.

Additionally, the $100 application fee will be waived for anyone who applies, to an available program with a 2021 intake, during the virtual event’s application waiver period from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Anyone who registers for and attends the open house will be entered in a draw to win a $1,500 tuition credit. Further details about the event can be found at explorelc.ca.
