Piikani man charged with second-degree murder following death of teenager

PIIKANI NATION, AB – Piikani Nation RCMP have charged a man in connection to a teenager’s death this summer.

Tregan Crow Eagle, 16, was found deceased on Monday, July 27, 2020, after leaving his residence in Brocket five days prior.

The death has been declared a homicide.

Dustin Big Bull, 37, of Piikani Nation, faces charges of second-degree murder and causing an indignity to human remains.

He has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in Pincher Creek Provincial Court on October 27, 2020.
