Crowsnest Pass residents hit the polls for by-election advanced voting

CROWSNEST PASS, AB – By this time next week, we will know who the Crowsnest Pass’ newest councillor will be.

Advanced polls are open Wednesday, October 21 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm at the Elks’ Hall in Blairmore.

One seat is up for grabs after now-former councillor Gordon Lundy announced his resignation back in March “due to personal reasons.”

Two candidates are vying to take his place, as Glen Girhiny and Oliver Strickland are in the running.

Both are realtors in the community.

General voting day is Monday, October 26.
