Survey seeks to measure “pandemic pulse” with return to school in Alberta

Oct 22, 2020 | 10:41 AM

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Alberta School Councils’ Association (ASCA) is asking parents and guardians how the return to school is going so far.

They have released a new survey asking about the general feeling they have with their children being back in class during the COVID-19 pandemic.

It asks about matters such as you and your child’s mental health, class sizes, adherence to public health guidelines in school, and the competence of school health and safety protocols.

A separate survey done recently by the Alberta Teachers’ Association found that many educators are struggling with their mental health this term and to have compliance with guidelines. More details here.

The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. You can access it on the ASCA website here.

The deadline is Friday, November 6 at 11:59 pm.
