CROWSNEST PASS, AB – The unofficial results are in.
Voters in Crowsnest Pass went to the polls Monday, Oct. 26, for the council by-election.
Oliver Strickland and Glen Girhiny, two local realtors, were vying to fill one council seat, left vacant by Gordon Lundy. The former councillor left his seat in March “due to personal reasons”.
The unofficial tally shows Girhiny earned 298 votes, while Strickland received 254 votes, meaning Girhiny will fill the position on council.
