Multiple Alberta communities set temperature records on Monday

CLARESHOLM, AB – It was a warm Monday across most of Alberta.

According to Environment Canada, multiple communities in the province saw record high temperatures for November 2.

Claresholm set a new record of 23.7 degrees Celsius, surpassing the previous record of 22.2 set in 1969.

Other records of note include:

  • Bow Island Area: 23.1 (previous record of 18.9 set in 1962)
  • Brooks Area: 24.6 (23.5 in 1981)
  • Calgary Area: 23.1 (21.7 in 1969)
  • Milk River Area: 22.9 (19.0 in 1996)
  • Strathmore Area: 24.9 (20.5 in 1981)
