644 new COVID cases in Alberta, local breakdowns return
LETHBRIDGE, AB – Alberta Health Services has released Monday’s report on COVID-19.
After being plagued by issues with an AHS system update for an entire week, it looks like nearly everything is back to normal now. However, since the last time we have had a regional or community breakdown was last Wednesday, November 4, today’s article will not attempt to say how many cases, deaths, or hospitalizations are “new” since yesterday.
644 cases were confirmed across the province in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 34,160. Of those, 7,965 cases are active while 25,826 people have recovered.
In the five days since the last local update, the South Health Zone has seen 258 people test positive, or an average of 52 people per day. 497 infections are active, a growth of 164 in that time.
