LETHBRIDGE, AB– Lethbridge Family Services (LFS) is launching the 28th annual Angel Tree Christmas Campaign on Friday, November 13, 2020.

Angel Tree makes gift bundles for an estimated 2,600 children, from ages 0–18 years-old for them on Christmas morning this year.

Details on the event:

Date and Time: Friday, November 13, 2020 – 1:00 pm Location: Melcor Centre, 2nd level, Unit #240 – 200 4th Ave S (enter from 5 Ave or 5 St Entrance) COVID protocols: Please wear masks. The space will be big enough for social distancing.

Each gift bundle is carefully packed for every child with:

1. Something on their wish list

2. Something inspirational to fuel their imaginations

3. Something educational to nourish their minds

1st Choice Savings and Credit Union have supported Angel Tree for 18 years now and will kick off the fundraising campaign with a gift of $5000.

The campaign will be doing things a little different this year with COVID-19:

“In response to the current changing environment, we have provided so many options for our donors, families, and volunteers this year! Everyone has a choice to participate, with a few changes, as they did in past years or try our brand new virtual options. Go to www.lfsfamily.ca for everything Angel Tree.”

LFS is also saying with many businesses unable to participate, they will be the main drop
off locations and will be accepting new toys and cash donations at their six different branches.
