Annual Christmas Tree Festival kicking off in Lethbridge

Nov 12, 2020 | 2:50 PM

LETHBRIDGE, AB– Although the normal Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation Christmas Tree Festival can’t happen this year, the show must go on.

People are pining over the ability to have the festival but due to COVID-19, it will look a bit different.

The festival will celebrate the spirit of the holidays by highlighting all of the best-decorated trees from the last five years.

Chinook Regional Hospital says to stay tuned to their social media channels, which will be showcasing as many of the beautifully decorated trees as they can.

Stringam LLP has decided to continue to sponsor the event this year, despite the change of structure and overall event.

The decision to change things up this year fell on the shoulders of the foundation to take a more digital approach since in-person events are limited due to the pandemic.

Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation says if you are able to donate to the greatest needs of the foundation, donate on their website.

The festival will run every day from November 12th to December 12th.
