Lethbridge School Division confirms one case of COVID at Mike Mountain Horse

LETHBRIDGE, AB – A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at Mike Mountain Horse Elementary School.

The contact tracing process is underway and close contacts will be notified via email and instructed to quarantine for at least 14 days.

The Lethbridge School Division says if a parent/guardian is not contacted, then their child is not a close contact and can attend school as usual while following all public health guidelines.

The school schedule at Mike Mountain Horse Elementary will proceed as normal today, November 20.

In accordance with Alberta Health Services guidelines, the division said they cannot say whether the patient is a staff member or student.
