Alberta sets record 1,336 COVID cases Saturday

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Alberta Health Services has released Saturday’s report on COVID-19, covering statistics from the past 24 hours.

1,336 cases were confirmed across the province, bringing the total to 45,288.

Of those, 11,274 cases are active while 33,543 people have recovered.

Nine new deaths have been added over that time bringing the total to 471.

Among the new deaths from the last 24 hours, the province has informed media of the death of a woman in her 20’s. No additional information has been given other than she was from Southern Alberta.

Friday marked a new record of daily COVID-19 cases at 1,155. Just one day later, that has already been broken.

19,239 tests were completed on November 20th also 320 people are in hospital, and 56 are in intensive care.

As for the breakdown for Lethbridge and the South Zone, those numbers are not available at this time.
