Beef Cattle Research Council webinars cover range of issues

CALGARY, AB. — It’s practical, science-based information and solutions geared towards all Canadian beef producers.

A series of fall-and-winter webinars from the Beef Cattle Research Council (BCRC) is including topics that range from record keeping, to reproductive failure and production goals.

The series of six webinars continue with four more through March 17, 2021.

Upcoming webinars include:

— Reproductive Failure in the Beef Herd: Causes, Effects and When to Intervene — December 2021.

— Meeting Your Production Goals: Records for Animal Health and Performance — January 13, 2021

— Breeding Goals: Practical Genetics for Beef Production — February 17, 2021.

— Record Keeping for Forage and Grassland Management — March 23, 2021.

BCRC webinars are free of charge, as the guest speakers volunteer their time and expertise, in order to support advancements in the Canadian Beef Industry. They are funded by the Canadian Beef Cattle Check-Off and Canada’s Beef Science Cluster through the Knowledge Dissemination and Technology Transfer project.

It’s recommended that you register for as many webinars as you are interested in, even though you may not have time available on the listed dates. By registering, you’ll receive a link which allows you to watch the recording at your convenience. You will also receive a reminder about the upcoming webinar. Joining the live broadcast is recommended, as you’ll be able to interact with the presenters and ask your own questions.
