Local baseball organizations hosting Cash for Christmas fundraiser

Dec 1, 2020 | 11:05 AM

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Bulls baseball team has teamed with the Prairie Baseball Academy (PBA) and Little League Alberta District 1 for a Christmas fundraiser.

The Cash for Christmas 50/50 aims to help cushion the impacts of the loss of the non-profit organizations’ 2020 seasons, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The groups will split the proceeds evenly, with a potential jackpot of $10,000. Funds raised will help toward equipment and field needs going into the 2021 season.

Anyone interested in purchasing a ticket can do so at Rafflebox.ca/raffle/lethbridgebulls or by visiting the Bulls, PBA and Little League District 1’s social media pages.

“Lethbridge baseball would like to thank our community for your continued support,” read a release from the Bulls.

As of Tuesday, Dec. 1, there are 13 days left to purchase tickets.

One ticket is $10, 10 tickets cost $25, 25 tickets for $50 and 100 tickets for $100.
