UPDATE: Missing Claresholm man located safely

CLARESHOLM, ABUPDATE: RCMP have confirmed that a missing Claresholm man has been found.

36-year-old Andrew Tyler Shields had not been in contact with his family since February of this year, according to RCMP. He’s since been found safely.

Claresholm RCMP thank the public for their help in finding Shields.

On November 17, 2020, Claresholm RCMP were advised that 36-year-old Andrew Tyler Shields had not been in contact with his family since early February 2020.

Shields last made contact with his family through social media.

RCMP believe he left Claresholm around that time and is apparently known to be around Lethbridge.

So far, attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful and RCMP would like to speak with him.

Andrew Shields is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • Brown hair with Brown eyes
  • 5′ 5”
  • 158 lbs
  • Tattoo on his back of a cross and tribal art on one of his arms
